We have a strong suspicion that there will be three tribes of five players heading into the final days before the merge, but there’s always the possibility that the Ghost Island curse/theme evolves into something stronger at this point.Where to watch tv shows online? Finding the best shows to binge watch online is a frustrating experience and a very long process. There’s not much to this week’s Survivor Ghost Island synopsis “Another surprising tribe swap could mean a fresh start for some castaways” is all that we get. Will it pay off in Survivor Ghost Island episode 6, “Fate is the Homie,” or are we continuing to build towards a stronger story at the merge? What was expected was that Naviti would stay strong, making the past episode particularly slow and focused more on setting up the battle between Domenick and Chris. With the exception of a Malolo blindside by a sloppy Naviti right at the first swap, it’s been business as usual at the new Malolo, with old Naviti taking out winner contenders Brendan and Stephanie unexpectedly early.

Swapping early may have produced an unintended consequence for the producers this season, as the Final 15 are days away from the merge and are cutting away at original Malolo’s numbers in an almost clinical fashion. Sure, there was a sense of deep characterization that balanced things out, but for the most part, Ghost Island and modern seasons have been doing a great job of keeping things dynamic.

Though there’s a special place in my heart for the earliest seasons of Survivor, the “original tribe strong” mentality that permeated through the seasons that contained tribe swaps made for some predictable, linear gameplay.
